School Holiday Program Educator

What’s the opportunity?

Y Victoria is currently seeking Casual Educators for our School Holiday Programs within at Macleod Recreation & Fitness Centre. This is a casual position, with working hours varying from Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 6:30pm through the summer holidays (6 - 24 January 2025) and the option to return each school holidays, if this is more your style!

The hourly rate for the position is between $33 - $38 p/hour (depending on your qualification & experience) + 11.5% super. This role is perfect for teachers looking to make some extra money over the holidays!

As an School Holiday Program Educator you will be dedicated to empowering young children and have a passion for providing engaging experiences. Supported by the OSHC team and an experienced Coordinator, you will enhance positive relationships with children, families and the school community while facilitating our Before and After School Care sessions and School Holiday programs.

What will I need?

• You’ll need to have either completed or be working towards an ACECQA-approved qualification (see the link below) – or willing to enrol in a course
• You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent)
• You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Children’s Check – employee check
