OSHC (Outside School Hour Care) are services for families, children and schools across Victoria. Suitable for children aged from five to 12 years old, we offer both before and after school care and school holiday programs.

About the Opportunity 

The Y Victoria is currently seeking a Full time Coordinator for our After School Program at Yarrawonga P-12 College. In this role, you will also play a key part in organising and implementing the School Holiday Program. During school holidays, flexibility in work hours is required, as ensure the successful operation of the program for the community.

This Full-time role is perfect for someone seeking 38 hours of work per week, with availability from 6:30 - 9:30 & 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

We are looking for a passionate individual dedicated to empowering young children through engaging experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the daily operations, strategic development, and growth of the program.
  • Collaborating with the OSHC Manager to identify and respond to opportunities for service improvement.
  • Building positive relationships with the school, families, local community groups, and contract partners.
  • Leading a team of educators to deliver a high-quality, fun Outside School Hours Care program.

What do you need? 

  • Minimum working towards Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care and/or Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood
  • Have (or be willing to obtain) HLTAID012 First Aid Qualifications (including valid CPR) 
  • Have (or be willing to obtain) WWCC (Working With Children Check) Employee edition (VIT unable to be accepted)
  • Anaphylaxis and Asthma Qualifications
  • Equivalent experience
