About the Opportunity
The Y Victoria are currently recruiting for a Full Time Regional OSHC Coordinator who will be dedicated to empowering young children and have a passion for providing engaging experiences. Reporting to the Regional Manager and based at our partner schools across the northern suburbs of Melbourne, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the educational program and a team of Coordinators for a cluster of OSHC programs across Armstrong Creek, Bannockburn and Torquay.
- Supporting and leading coordinators and educators to drive and ensure quality program delivery from within
- Role-modelling excellent customer service when working with families, schools, and external contractors
- Being an exceptional role model for service staff while working in the program as a key team member during each after school care, school holiday program, and when required, before school care
- Providing expertise in delivering a safe and high-quality experience for our customers, including through planning and supporting during assessment and rating
This role will see you on the floor and within ratio 15-20 hours per week, with the aim to lead by example and provide on-the-job guidance to your teams. During non-contact hours, you will support onsite to enhance service presentation, plan activities for services, develop wellbeing plans and assist with inclusion support funding.
This is a permanent, full-time role within our OSHC team, with an annual salary of $85K, depending on qualifications and experience.

What do you need?
- Minimum Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care and/or Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood, or ACECQA equivalent
- Have (or be willing to obtain) HLTAID012 First Aid Qualifications (including valid CPR)
- Have (or be willing to obtain) WWCC (Working With Children Check) Employee edition (VIT unable to be accepted)
- Anaphylaxis and Asthma Qualifications
- Drivers licence (travel will be required between sites in this role)
- Equivalent experience
