Within Western Australia our Mining & Resources Division delivers engineering and construction projects for our key Tier 1 iron ore producing clients, which enables them to sustain and expand their mining operations throughout the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. As a trusted partner to the WA resource sector, Calibre is integrated in our Client’s Major Projects which enables up to go above and beyond and succeed together with our clients.
The Role:
Working within an integrated client team, you will be responsible for providing support to the business in developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure that projects can be accurately tracked and reported on for schedule and costs.
- Review monitor project performance/trends and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop standard template schedules to be applied across the business.
- Support the Project Managers with commercial claims and extension of time justifications.
- Identify efficiencies across projects to reduce/optimise manpower requirements.
- Monthly and weekly schedule and KPI reporting.
Thrive with us! We hope you'll bring:
- Experience working on projects within the mining/resource sector.
- Highly developed language, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to communicate plans clearly and concisely.
- Diversified experience in both Project Engineering and Design Engineering.
- Exposure to change management and design risk assessment processes.
- Good, broad knowledge/experience in Microsoft “Office”, particularly with P6 & MS Project.
