CDC NSW has 11 workshops across greater Sydney and the Hunter region. Our workshops are large, modern and well equipped with all up to date tools and equipment our teams need. Safety is our number one priority. Our equipment is well maintained and we are proud to hold both our ISO 9001 (Quality) as well as ISO 55000 (Assets) standards.

We operate 7 days a week and allow for flexible rosters and shifts to suit all lifestyles. We offer the opportunity to work on a variety of makes and models including diesel products from Volvo, Scania, Iveco and Mercedes right through to the latest in zero emission and electric buses.

About the role:

This full-time position that will suit an experienced spray painter. Here’s what you will do:

• Prepare bus surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
• Apply paint using spray guns to achieve a smooth, even finish
• Inspect and touch up painted surfaces to meet quality standards
• Maintain and clean spray painting equipment regularly
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of jobs

Who We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a spray painter, preferably in the automotive or transport industry
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Earn between $34.79 - $44.77 per hour depending on skills and experience  
• Potential to earn up to $90,000 annually with opportunities for overtime and on-call roster allowances
