About the role:
CDC's Charter division is actively seeking a vibrant, enthusiastic, and self-driven Marshal to join their team as a Marshal. Reporting to the Charter Operations Manager, the Marshal plays a key role in supporting bus drivers and facilitating the transportation of passengers on Route Service buses and Charter vehicles, particularly in response to Rail Replacement needs and the coordination of Special Events.
Key Performance Requirements and Duties
· Check bus arrivals at both local bus stops and Sydney Olympic Park against check sheets
· Assist the bus driver with the loading of passengers ensuring passenger numbers do not exceed the legal load capacity for the bus.
· Monitor bus movements against and when required report this information to the TfNSW control centre.
· Conduct and record in the prescribed manner:
· Bus arrival times
· Passenger Numbers
· Liaise with other Marshals and TfNSW Control Centre in the deployment of Stand-By buses.
· Manage Sub-Contractors ensuring service requirements are met.
· Provide information to customers on services and schedule arrivals and departures.
· Manage on site customer service requirements.
· Special Events (Roving Marshal) Starting at the start location, travel the route to ensure there are excess passenger numbers at specific stops and provide updates to TfNSW Control Centre with regard to any issues – Working with other marshals seek assistance with regard to the deployment of Stand-By Buses
· Special Events Sydney Olympic Marshal (SOP) – Working at the SOP precinct make off bus arrivals and departures in conjunction with TfNSW Marshals. Assist when required for bus park up arrangements.

· Manage bus movements and implement change when required to provide better on time services.
