The Role:

CDC NSW is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and self-motivated Depot Manager to lead our teams at Mount Kuring-Gai and Terrey Hills depots. Reporting to the General Manager, this role involves managing and overseeing the depot team to ensure efficient, customer-focused services in line with the standards and requirements of CDC NSW and our commercial contracts with Transport for NSW.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ability in contributing and maintaining a positive safety culture
• Management of staff performance and workforce planning to ensure efficient delivery of services in a safe and cost-effective manner
• Reviewing and updating network rosters and schedules for approved services
• Ensuring compliance with all contract conditions and meeting KPI’s
• Lead the implementation of company-wide programs
• Managing relationships and communication with external stakeholders such as schools, local authorities and key community groups

About You:

• Tertiary qualification desirable
• Previous experience in leadership roles within the public transport industry highly desirable
• Experience leading and motivating staff and resolving operational problems at all levels across a diverse organisation.
• A positive and motivated team player with exceptional internal and external stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
• Well organised, able to prioritise and manage projects effectively
• Advance level Microsoft Office skills

Knowledge Specifications:

• Certificate of Transport Management or ability to obtain
• Bus Operator Accreditation Scheme Certificate or ability to obtain
