We are seeking experienced and new drivers to the industry, and we encourage all who are looking for a career change to apply.

A range of positions are available including full time, part time and casual drivers at our depots. 

A driving role includes conducting thorough pre-departure checks, driving efficiently while prioritising passenger safety and comfort. Record-keeping responsibilities, such as maintaining daily journals and fuel usage logs are also crucial aspects of the role to ensure operational transparency and efficiency.

  • Full time and part time rates; from $31.45 per hour, and potential earning of $90k per year including overtime and weekend shifts.

About you:

If you are a team player, care about your community and prioritise safety then CDC NSW is the place for you. As a Driver you will need a positive attitude, good communication skills and value customer service.

Skills, Attributes and Experience which are essential to succeed in this role:

  • Have a Heavy Vehicle Licence (MR and above)
  • Have or willing to obtain a NSW Bus Drivers Authority - CDC can assist to obtain your Driver Authority
  • Have or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
  • Provide your current RMS driving history
  • Knowledge and understanding of Work, Health and Safety Practices
  • Always act SAFELY
  • Have excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE skills
  • Have excellent COMMUNICATION skills
  • A positive, proactive approach and be well presented at all times
  • Provide an Australian passport/current Australian working status
  • Flexibility for split shifts
