We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technology projects within our organization. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring that projects meet defined goals and deliverables. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, project management skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, risk assessment, and contingency plans.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, software development, quality assurance, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Ensure that projects meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates and reporting.
- Facilitate project meetings, including kickoff meetings, status meetings, and post-project reviews.
- Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
- Ensure effective change management processes are in place to handle scope changes and other project adjustments.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, Asana).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience working in a technology-focused environment, with a good understanding of IT infrastructure and software development processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience managing projects in a specific industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail).
- Familiarity with cloud computing, cybersecurity, or other emerging technologies.
