About the role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring timely, accurate and well controlled processes are in place for payments and receipts. Additionally, you will be tasked with the development of the two managers/team leads ensuring their respective teams’ function efficiently.

  • Oversight of the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
  • Accurate regular reporting of business unit aged debtors and aged creditors and daily receipts / payments monitoring and approval.
  • Maintenance of policies for AP and AR function.
  • Regular review of procedures and practices.
  • Monitoring, escalation and assistance in rectification of any compliance issues.
  • User access reviews, checking and other monitoring activities to ensure transactions are appropriately recorded.
  • External and internal audit requirements relating to AP and AR.
  • Ad hoc tasks and projects as required to support Finance Manager and broader Finance team.

Key selection criteria:

  • Experience in management of large teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, disciplined, and hands-on.
  • Continuous improvement project management skills, including assessing requirements, solution testing and change management.
  • Broad understanding of required control environments
  • Highly organised with ability to complete multiple tasks at any given time and deliver to deadline.
  • Strong numeric skills combined with an attention to detail.
  • Senior stakeholder management
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products (specifically Microsoft Excel).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics. (Desirable)
