We have now commenced recruitment for our 2024 Graduate Structural Engineering Programme and have opportunities available in our Dunedin office.

At Egis we offer a two-year graduate program where you will develop a diverse range of knowledge and skills, gain exposure to different sectors and work environments, and ultimately build up the experience you need for a long and successful career.

Through structured learning, hands-on projects, continuous feedback and supportive colleagues, the Graduate Program will give you the chance to grow and have impact in your chosen area.

Graduate Induction:

All graduates across Egis Group are invited to attend the Graduate Induction Day, which is still to be confirmed. The induction is designed to inform you of the journey ahead, provide insight into the culture of our company, and unify the newest cohort of Egis graduates.

On the Job:

During your two-year program, we will work together to provide you with a strong technical foundation but also on-the-job learning experiences that enable you to increase your breadth and depth of skills whilst gaining valuable experiences across a range of areas.

Formal Training:

You will participate in a range of different development activities including on-the-job training; mentoring and formal workshops to ensure you are set up for success.

We approach your professional development with a holistic view. Complementing your technical training, you will meet as a cohort twice during the program and can learn from internal and external trainers.

Mentoring:

You will have the opportunity to work with a mentor who will assist and guide you through the remainder of your program. Mentoring is a mutually beneficial professional development relationship, and our senior and experienced professionals are happy to share their knowledge and experience and learn from you.

Networking Events:

As part of Egis’s ongoing commitment to your learning and development, we actively encourage all our technical and professional staff to maintain active memberships and participation with the relevant industry association.

All graduates are provided with paid membership to their relevant Professional Association.
