The Role:

CablePrice presents a rare and exciting opportunity for an accomplished and motivated leader to join our team. Our Branch Managers are at the forefront of our operations, leading an engaged and motivated work-force to continuously deliver exceptional customer experience and achieve profitable growth of the business. We work hard, train well and challenge each other every day to better our performance.

Due to a re-shape of our Christchurch operation, we are looking for a driven leader for our new stand-alone Construction and Mining Equipment business. You will be responsible for the development and execution of the branch business plans that align with the Company's strategic goals as well as overall branch performance. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Plan, lead, organise and control the branch activities to achieve the branch budgets.
  • Develop and support service and parts sales strategies.
  • Contribute to local sales strategies to increase company market share.
  • Leadership, staff development and employee relations.
  • Communicates and drives the dealership values, principles, vision, and mission. 
  • Communicates with other branch and functional managers to implement best practices and consistent processes for all departments within the organisation.
  • Leading Health and Safety and ownership of our Health and Safety processes and reporting whilst providing ongoing advice to manage risks to the people and the business.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership experience, a customer-centric approach to operations management and value continuous improvement, as well as:

  • Solid analytical, business planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Financial analytical skills to ensure revenue and profitability targets are met.
  • Previous senior leadership experience in dealership operations is preferred.
  • Commitment to delivering quality service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Strong ability to lead, coach, and motivate diverse teams.
  • Experience in leading Health and Safety and providing ongoing advice to manage risks to the people and the business.
