Yardperson

The Hastings Opportunity:

We currently have an opportunity for a Yardperson to assist in our busy Hastings Branch. We are looking for someone to assist with maintaining the cleanliness of our site, grooming of machines and vehicles and moving heavy vehicles from our site to customer sites (Class 4 drivers license preferable or willing to obtain). You will be hardworking and don’t mind helping the team wherever needed. In this position you are guaranteed 32 hours per week with the potential of overtime. Forklift and wheel endorsement will be paid for if you don’t already have this.

You'll be responsible for:

• Cleaning machinery and vehicles, yard cleaning, this will include but not limited to water blasting, and keeping the yard and workshop to a tidy standard 
• Assisting with Truck servicing
• Check machines in and out from hire
• Basic machine operating skills required to move machines around the yard
• Health and Safety responsibilities for the branch
• Responsible for providing a high level of customer service, to both internal and external customers
