Porter Services Manager

Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world-famous Cable Beach in Broome, far north Western Australia. Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools. Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, Resort Shop and Day Spa.

We are currently seeking an experienced Porter Services Manager to join our Concierge team on a Full Time basis.

The purpose of this role is to provide professional and helpful transport, delivery and information service to all Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa guests and to supervise and direct the Concierge department (Porter team and Bus Drivers).

You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring service standards of all Concierge staff is professional, helpful and in line with the Resort's vision and goals at all times
• Ensuring all vehicles are maintained with daily checks completed to the highest possible standards particularly in cleanliness
• Ensure concerns with product and service are communicated with the Front Office Manager and other departments
• The coordination and supervision of all guest arrivals and departures
• In conjunction with the Front Office Manager provide training, mentoring and recruitment as required of concierge department staff
• Dealing with guest complaints and issues and ensuring a prompt resolution
• Monitor and control inventories for assets and operating equipment
• Working a range of shifts, including afternoons and evenings as required

The successful applicant must have:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the Hospitality industry is essential
• Proven customer service experience in a supervisory or management role is required
• Thorough knowledge of security, health and safety requirements in a similar industry
• Certification in Hospitality, Training Small Groups, Management or Supervision and/or Health and Safety Standards is an advantage
• Meticulous presentation & grooming standards
• Ability to work over a seven day roster
• A strong desire to be part of a high achieving team
• Experience using RMS desirable
• Flexible work attitude
• Current WA Drivers License – Manual; MR licence an advantage
