Accounts Administrator - Burger Urge

Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are seeking a motivated Accounts Administrator to join our small finance team at our New Farm office. This role is integral to our national franchisor operations and will evolve with the business as site numbers grow. The first 6 months will focus on developing an intimate understanding of each head office department's processes.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processing of billing, card transactions & invoicing
  • Weekly KPI reporting and analysis, providing insights into site performance and purchasing behaviors
  • Month-end duties including P&L reviews and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Assistance with weekly payroll and team error review
  • Responding to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Assisting with network benchmarking and site performance analysis
  • Management of interrelated entity accounts
  • Other ad-hoc administrative and finance activities as directed by Finance Manager & CFO

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2+ years of accounts experience is essential
  • Experience with Xero is essential; knowledge of TANDA is ideal
  • Knowledge of Australian payroll laws and all state and federal statutory requirements
  • Advanced Excel skills
