Leasing & Property Manager 

📍 Brisbane, QLD | Full-Time | Burger Urge HQ | Commercial/Retail Portfolio 

Ready to take ownership of a dynamic property portfolio in a role that blends operational responsibility with strategic oversight? 

We’re on the lookout for a proactive and highly organised Leasing & Property Manager to join our team and drive the performance and maintenance of our commercial spaces. 

This isn't your average property role. You'll be the key connector between tenants, landlords, and service providers—managing everything from lease renewals and financial reporting to keeping our facilities running smoothly and compliantly. 

 

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing 

Lease & Financial Management 

  • Take the lead on lease renewals, market reviews, and options management 
  • Keep our lease and franchise agreement database up to date and audit ready 
  • Approve monthly rent and ensure financial accuracy across the board 
  • Handle annual percentage rent and turnover statement calculations 
  • Review outgoing statements, monitor utilities, and manage annual insurance COCs 
  • Stay on top of bank guarantees and all key lease-related compliance tasks 

Franchise Administration 

  • Oversee execution of franchise agreements and renewal cycles 
  • Ensure timely and accurate sales reporting and performance monitoring 
  • Maintain strong reporting processes for franchise performance and obligations 

Facilities & Contractor Oversight 

  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance—both planned and reactive 
  • Manage contractor performance and ensure facilities remain compliant 
  • Ensure all plants and equipment operate smoothly and efficiently 
  • Keep the workspace safe and regulation-compliant for everyone 

 

✅ What You’ll Bring 

  • Solid experience in property and facilities management (commercial/retail preferred) 
  • Strong grasp of lease agreements, rental calculations, and reporting 
  • Confident managing contractors and ensuring compliance across sites 
  • Excellent communication—you can switch from landlord talks to tenant support effortlessly 
  • High-level organisation and multitasking capabilities 
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office and familiar with property/facilities software
