What we have on offer:

As our business continues to grow, we continue to foster our customer first philosophy. To support our compelling offering, we are seeking a Training Officer to join the Training Team to upskill and provide technical expertise.

You will be responsible for developing, co-ordinating and delivering the Bullivants national technical training and competency, for both internal and external customers. This includes researching, designing and facilitating best practice educational training sessions to further develop the skills and knowledge of our technical services team members.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity and will be based from Bullivants Newcastle. Given the nature of this role, there will be the requirement for travel to other Bullivants sites across the East Coast.

What your new role entails:

  • Delivery of technical training and assessment to all new Bullivants employees
  • Support with technical assessment of external customers
  • Reviewing and assessing the ongoing competency of employees
  • Regular travel to Bullivants and customer sites
  • Delivering training face to face or virtually as required

What you will bring:

Ideally, you will qualifications including:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessing
  • RIIHAN208E – Perform Dogging or equivalent
  • RIIHAN305D Operate a Gantry or Overhead Crane
  • RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights 
  • NATA Accredited for ISO17025 & ISO17020

 You will also have:

  • A demonstrated technical service experience within a manufacturing background – preferred but not essential. If you have some mechanical aptitude, we can build a development program for you
  • The ability to develop strong professional relationships with internal and external customers
  • The ability to work autonomously as required
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Problem solving and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
