We are seeking a motivated and driven Business Development Manager to join our Welshpool, WA team. You will be responsible for driving sales across a dedicated territory through strategic planning and sales excellence to achieve budgeted sales and growth targets.

The ideal candidate is solution-focused, possesses a lifting and rigging technical aptitude, and has a disciplined approach to work. You can also:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support a portfolio from, but not exclusive to, the Mining Sector, Oil & Gas, Engineering, Transport, and Crane companies, covering the Perth Metro area
  • Regular visits to customer sites to develop technical solutions, offer best practice advice, and services
  • Seek and develop growth opportunities through strategic planning and analysis
  • Achieve budgeted sales and trading margin contribution targets through planning, forecasting and anticipating customer needs
  • Develop and nurture key customer relationships
  • You will be 100% committed to personal and business safety

You will be customer and solutions focused to support our Customer First philosophy. To be successful in this role we are looking for:

  • Experience in a Business Development or Sales Representative role, with a passion for sales
  • A technical understanding of lifting and rigging, testing and repairs – preferred but not essential, we have a great team who will build your knowledge and capability!
  • Experience working with technical concepts and developing solutions
  • Exceptional stakeholder management with a commercial focus
  • Ability to confidently communicate, influence, and negotiate
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills – email, word, excel and our internal systems
  • Sound knowledge of Perth and surrounding areas
