Our Business
Organisational Services division supports, equips, and helps guide Council to deliver the Brisbane Vision through centralised corporate services and a customer focused approach.
Our Branch
Information Services Branch (ISB) is responsible for Council's information and communications technology (ICT) strategy, information management and service delivery.
Our branch helps Council use ICT effectively to improve business functions and deliver benefits to the community.
The Role
The End User Computing Manager leads the delivery and management of ICT desktop services to all areas of Council.
This role manages and leads services delivered by four teams, these include; Desktop Services; End User Computing, Citrix Virtual Desktop; and VIP Support which support Ward Offices, the Offices of the Lord Mayor and CEO.
The Candidate
We are looking for an engaging and collaborative leader who understands and delivers a customer services approach.
You will have extensive experience in the delivery of desktop and end user services and able to lead the team to deliver an innovative and a more custom approach for our customers.
To be successful you will have:
- extensive experience in leading and managing professional teams and in the delivery of desktop services in a complex business environment
- demonstrated experience in providing innovative desktop solutions to end users
- extensive analytical and diagnostic skills
- highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to coach, consult, and influence
- experience in contract and vendor management
- extensive experience in business performance and continuous improvement practices.
