Our Branch
Information Services Branch ( ISB) supports and enables nearly all of Council’s day-to-day activities and services through efficient, flexible and innovative ICT solutions. ISB leads the ICT strategy that supports the business objectives of Council as a whole, as well as information management and ICT service delivery in Council.
The Role
Working closely with the Master Scheduler in ISB, you will be responsible for reviewing resource demands for multiple unique projects being delivered through ISB and making recommendations based on cost models, supply and demand of staffing resources and future actions where necessary. You will have the capability to obtain key information and data through multiple information channels including Project Online and Cost Models software. The successful applicant will have strong stakeholder management skills in order to collaborate, support and obtain relevant information to make recommendations to achieve successful project outcomes.
To be successful you will have:
- demonstrated experience in analysing and reporting on information and data within a professional organisation including the ability to synthesize and summarise multiple channels of information to identify risks and make recommendations
- demonstrated experience in developing resource plans and processes related to technology organisations on a variety of projects
- highly developed understanding of resource planning principles, project planning principals and service level planning methods
- ability to manage competing priorities and re-prioritise where necessary
- highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated success in collaboration across multiple work areas
- demonstrated experience with Microsoft suite and desirable experience MS Project, MS DevOps, Atlassian Jira.
This role requires a Criminal History Check for preferred candidates.
