Our Branch
Information Services Branch (ISB) supports and enables nearly all of Council’s day-to-day activities and services through efficient, flexible and innovative ICT solutions. ISB leads the ICT strategy that supports the business objectives of Council as a whole, as well as information management and ICT service delivery in Council.
The Role
The Application Analyst role, reporting to the Application Portfolio Manager, is a brand new dedicated role in our Information Services Branch expanding our current team to create a responsible person for maintaining core Council functions. This role leads the ongoing implementation and maintenance for a portfolio of applications, predominantly focussed on Records Manager (Content manager), CMX, LGhub and Inmailx . The role is responsible for providing customer focused, specialist advice and support to end users across Council to ensure their engagement with Council ICT is a positive experience.
The role working closely with customers to understand their needs, conducting regular reviews, and managing performance of the applications and service providers.
To be successful you will have:
- demonstrated experience and ability to maintain strong technical understanding and delivery of enterprise application technologies including roadmap planning and business resilience testing
- demonstrated experience to manage relationships with vendors to ensure strong functional support for Council end-users and manage current and future financial investments for positive outcomes
- demonstrated experience in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management process including incident, problem, test, change and configuration management
- understanding of how existing and evolving technologies and other such environments (databases, servers, networks and integrations) impacts existing systems and infrastructures
- demonstrated ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including project managers, corporate partners, other information services teams and external vendors
- strong conflict resolution and problem solving skills with the ability to resolve issues or conflict, communicate in a clear and concise manner, coach and provide constructive feedback
This role requires a Criminal History Check for preferred candidates.
