Salary Range: Band 4 $82,995 - $89,095 + superannuation (Remuneration stated is for the full-time positions) 

Work type: Temporary full-time 

Duration: Up to 12 months 


The Branch  

Community Facilities leads the sustainable management of Council-owned community facing assets including administration of City Hall and cemeteries and crematoria services. Responsibilities include contract management, administration, strategy and planning. 

The Role   

As the Section Support Officer, you will be a highly organised and proactive individual with prior experience providing administrative and project support to a large team. 

You will be responsible for the day-to-day responsibilities including but not limited to drafting correspondence, managing community support funding requests, administrative and roster support to the executives including diary management, deliver financial reporting for the $2 summer dips program, and general support to the two sections and branch as required.   

This role would suit someone with previous experience in a similar role, who is a self-starter, has excellent organisational and time management skills. 

To be considered for the position you will: 

  • manage your time and workload efficiently and possess the ability to balance changing priorities to meet business needs 
  • be an excellent communicator with interpersonal skills which lend you to working effectively with a range of stakeholders 
  • have demonstrated administrative support experience and effective use of MS Office and database management systems 
  • excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate a range of administrative tasks effectively.
