Branch: Construction

Salary Range: Band 5 $91,900 - $104,172 plus superannuation (Remuneration stated is for the full-time positions)

Work type: Temporary Full-time

Duration: Up to 12 months (Extension/s thereafter but not guaranteed).

Brisbane Infrastructure brings together Council's asset management, infrastructure planning, design, project management, construction, services, maintenance, and transport operations activities.​ Teams are committed to creating an inclusive culture that values and embraces all our wonderful differences! The Facility Services team is responsible for coordinating a range of maintenance activities for a range of buildings and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operation of the environments. They strive to minimise exposure and risk including addressing compliance issues, quality assurance and workplace health and safety.​​​​​​​​

In this role you will be:

  • working with the Facility Manager in the development and delivery of planned and unplanned works within service level agreements
  • consulting with tenants on programmed inspections and maintenance
  • supervising building works including preventative and corrective maintenance
  • overseeing projects and minor works
  • ensuring compliance standards for building and maintenance
  • applying key legislation, policies, and continuous improvement initiatives to foster and reinforce an environment of Zero Harm.

 To be successful you will bring:

  • familiarity with planning and coordinating maintenance projects for a diverse range of facilities
  • demonstrated ability to deliver projects within budget and timeframes
  • effective communication, negotiation, and networking skills
  • well-developed stakeholder and customer relationship skills
  • solution-based outcomes within legislative parameters
  • skills and experience to work across competing priorities and deadlines.
  • ability to effectively use SAP and Asset and Works Management system.
