Salary Range: Band 4 $82,995 to $89,095 plus 14% superannuation (Remuneration stated is for the full-time positions) 

Work type: Temporary full-time 

Location: Brisbane Square, CBD

The Role 

We have a great opportunity for a highly organised and proactive administration professional with the ability to provide high quality executive support to the General Manager of NEWS, multitask a range of duties and manage competing priorities. . 

In this varied role you will provide; program support and coordination, review memos and reports, inbox management, assist in the review and updating of corporate processes, liaise with internal stakeholders including the divisional managers office and Environment, Parks and Sustainability Chairpersons office and maintain general administrative processes.

To be successful you will have: 

  • well-developed planning and organisational skills including ability to manage competing priorities with limited supervision 
  • problem solving skills with the ability to use initiative to resolve issues 
  • highly developed interpersonal skills and experience in successfully developing and managing stakeholder relationships 
  • competent written skills and with the proven ability to prepare and produce letters, memoranda, and minutes to a high standard.  
  • outstanding customer service attributes that include a professional image, customer focus, active listening, sound negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
