Our Branch
Support Services provides Council's key support services under a centralised model. Our efficient back-of-house support ensures more resources can be focused on Council’s front-line service delivery.
The Optimisation and Performance team within Employee Services provides services including process and reporting enhancements, project assistance and support for change management and testing. Our work can impact various Council areas, and we collaborate with teams across Employee Services, including Payroll and Performance Reporting.
The Role
The Payroll Process Coordinator proactively leads and delivers business process continuous improvement initiatives relating to payroll services and the broader team.
In this role, you will use your expertise in process improvement to enhance core services, ensuring seamless operations and a positive employee experience. You’ll be a strategic thinker with a passion for process optimisation and building strong stakeholder relationships.
To be successful you will have:
- strong problem-solving skills to identify and implement improvements
- excellent communication skills, and ability to work with a range of stakeholders including negotiating and presenting solutions
- strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- demonstrated experience preparing and delivering process related documentation
- a passion for working within a team and contributing to a positive team culture.
