The Role

This is a key position working with off road cycling enthusiasts to manage tracks and trails throughout the city in an environmentally and sustainable manner.

Your role will see you manage the programs for the improvement and maintenance of the cycling trails for Mt Coo-tha with potential scope to broaden the application.

As part of this you will focus on collaboration with community, local government, private landowners, off-road cycling groups and clubs, state government and other stakeholders in the off-road cycling network.

As the successful candidate you will have the following skills:

  • experienced in the planning, management, implementation and evaluation of programs and projects to agreed timeframes, budget, and standards.
  • strong project and risk management skills including the ability to monitor, report and provide advice and recommendations
  • demonstrated ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation.
  • research, analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to gather and compile information to develop reports for decision making
  • outstanding interpersonal and communication skills including coaching, negotiation, and mediation skills
  • highly adept at developing and managing stakeholder relationships.
