Our Branch  

City Legal is a specialist provider of legal services to Brisbane City Council. We provide a comprehensive range of cost-effective legal services, adding value to Council's core business and major projects. An opportunity currently exists for a Senior Solicitor - Planning and Infrastructure, to join our dedicated team. 

The Role  

The primary purpose of this role is to provide high quality, professional legal advice on complex planning and infrastructure matters. This work involves the application of a high level of professional legal knowledge and experience to provide efficient and effective legal services. 

To be successful you will have: 

  • have been admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and hold a current Practicing Certificate from the Queensland Law Society 
  • have extensive knowledge and experience in planning law and infrastructure related matters 
  • have demonstrated significant experience in the drafting of complex legal documents including experience in drafting infrastructure agreements 
  • have demonstrated experience in negotiating complex legal outcomes, to achieve organisational objectives 
  • highly developed communication, organisational and prioritisation skills to manage conflicting deadlines.
