Our Branch

Organisational Services supports, equips and helps guide the Council to deliver the Brisbane Vision through centralised corporate services and a customer-focused approach.

Within Organisational Services, the Information Services branch (ISB) is responsible for development of ICT strategy that supports the business objectives of Council as a whole, as well as information management and ICT service delivery in Council. The branch enables Council's corporate program outcome to use ICT effectively to improve business functions and deliver benefits to the community. 

The Role 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead and manage our ICT Service Centre team. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting all designated Service Centre targets through effective management of the Incident and Request Fulfilment Processes. 

 To be successful you will have: 

  • demonstrated evidence of capabilities in Council’s Leadership Blueprint to deliver performance excellence and a values-based culture
  • proven experience in managing an ICT Service Centre, including resource and process management, and resolving escalated issues
  • demonstrated ability to develop a management and governance methodology to consistently meet service levels in a customer-focused environment
  • excellent customer service skills with a proactive and continuous improvement approach to delivering customer satisfaction and incident reduction
  • strong ability to establish and maintain effective business partnerships through effective influencing, negotiation, and consultation
  • experience in financial management related to ICT service delivery, including budget monitoring and reporting
  • ability to lead performance through setting clear direction, providing support and feedback, and monitoring ongoing performance.
