Our Branch
Information Services Branch (ISB) supports and enables nearly all of Council’s day-to-day activities and services through efficient, flexible and innovative ICT solutions. ISB leads the ICT strategy that supports the business objectives of Council as a whole, as well as information management and ICT service delivery in Council.
The Role
The Master Scheduler for the Information Services Branch (ISB) is responsible for the collation, planning, and management of a master schedule related to the overall program of work being delivered through individual unique projects and programs. This role will be responsible for facilitating the identification of portfolio wide dependencies and ensuring these are being well managed. The successful applicant will have strong stakeholder management skills in order to collaborate, support and obtain relevant information, and a proved ability to make recommendations to achieve successful outcomes . The Master Scheduler will utilise their knowledge of project delivery methodologies and various digital tools including (but not limited to) Project Online and MS Project pro to track, report and make recommendations on ISB projects.
To be successful you will have:
- demonstrated experience in developing project and program planning approaches in a technology organisation, including the high-level ability to analyse, research and make recommendations based on data, insights and other available information and the ability to resolve complex and contemporary issues
- significant demonstrated success in relationship building, influencing, negotiating, partnering, presentation skills and written communication.
- demonstrated experience in providing professional advice based on costings, contemporary approaches to information technology products and research
- highly developed knowledge of Project Planning Principles
- highly developed knowledge and demonstrated experience in MS Office 365, Project Online and MS Project Pro
- desirable experience in MS DevOps and Atlassian Jira
This role requires a Criminal History Check for preferred candidates.
