The Opportunity

A great starter role if you are looking to build their career!

As a Customer Consultant, you will be part of a team supporting our customers and Account Managers. While you won’t be directly facing customers, you will assist with queries while being proactive to problem solve with overall satisfaction being an important goal.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with working hours of 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. This role will be based onsite at Blackwoods Newcastle.

Some of the tasks in the role:

  • Assist with general customer queries (via phone and email) and ensure overall satisfaction
  • Support the branch Account Managers with any customer queries
  • Action any administrative tasks related to the Customer Care role
  • Conduct product recommendations to customers based on previous buying history
  • Striving for first contact resolution and deliver on relevant service level objectives

Some of the skills required:

  • Experience in a customer focused environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in a small team
  • Exposure to Microsoft Office suite
  • A proactive mindset to anticipate and problem solve
