As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of general ledgers and related reconciliations. Supporting the broader Finance function, this roll will ensure high quality reporting and business processes which have a financial impact.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity and will be based onsite at the Blackwoods National Office, Macquarie Park.

Tasks of the role:

  • Support with the completion of month-end close processes
  • Assist with the accuracy of half-year and year-end financial audits
  • Collaborate with other Accountants and Finance Business Partners to resolve issues and align on deliverables
  • Provide reporting and commentary of activities to relevant stakeholder groups
  • Support with ad hoc administrative tasks as required

Some of the skills:

  • CA/CPA qualified accountant with a minimum 3 years’ Accounting experience
  • Experience in resolving accounting issues under AASB
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly excel and macros)
  • High level written and verbal communication
  • Experience with ERP systems desirable
