The People Experience Senior Business Partner is a strategic advisor and change leader, partnering with senior business leaders to align people strategies with organisational goals. This role provides end to end HR / IR partnering across the employee lifecycle, to enable and maintain positive employee engagement, partnering with leaders to uplift capability, deliver organisational change, workforce planning, and organisational effectiveness while ensuring compliance and mitigating risk.

Blackwoods is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented People Experience Senior Business Partner to join our People Experience Business Partnering team based at our Carole Park or Acacia Ridge branch.

About the Role

As a Senior HR Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in supporting your client group by providing exceptional expert advice on all aspects of human resources including but not limited to industrial matters, investigations, compliance, engagement initiatives, workforce and talent planning, remuneration, learning and development; and performance management. You will support the employee lifecycle, with end to end touch points to ensure strong retention and culture.

Your Opportunity

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for your client group leaders, providing timely and accurate advice and guidance. You’ll be responsible for monthly reporting, participating in leadership meetings and strategic projects.

  • Building leadership capability through coaching / advice
  • Successful management of industrial / employee relations matters
  • On-time delivery of HR related projects within the HR function and your client group

 What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary (undergraduate) qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in HR roles with strong industrial and employee relations experience
  • Experience working in a large multifunctional organisation
  • Proficiency in navigating a range of HRIS systems and Microsoft office suite of applications
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
