Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Join our iconic Wesfarmers business as a Customer Care Consultant in our Trade Store located in Geraldton, WA. 

Whilst you will be focusing on delivering outstanding service to our customers and the market, no day will ever be the same! You’ll serve customers face to face, stock shelves adequately, track customer orders and ensure the trade store is neat and tidy. 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Provide fast-paced customer service via telephone, email, and in person in our trade store 
  • Recommend the best products or services to match customer needs 
  • Maintain trade store presentation standards, including merchandising and restocking 
  • Inform customers of new product ranges and applicable services 
  • Understand customer sales history, proactively identifying requirements 
  • Ensure timely actioning of customer requests within allocated timeframes 
  • Take ownership in continuing and cultivating all customer interactions 
  • Perform some warehouse duties and lifting as required 

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Customer service experience in a trade store/retail environment (desirable) 
  • Well-developed customer service skills with a ‘customer first’ approach 
  • Confidence and experience with computers and Microsoft suites 
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills 
  • Self-motivated, problem solver and time management skills 
  • Be safety minded and promote all things safety within our branch 
  • Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
