About the Role

As a Graduate Engineer, you will work within project teams contributing to delivering effective and professional services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding the project requirements and scope of work
  • Understanding the engineering standards that apply to the project
  • Contributing to the production of technical design information, including calculations, specifications and reports
  • Contributing/supporting the production of 3D models and CAD drawings
  • Applying technical design best practices
  • Ensuring that the design output includes the appropriate risk assessment
  • Ensuring design deliverables meet the required standards of accuracy and quality

About You

An experienced professional you'll have sound business development skills and a strong network in the transport sector which is backed up by your excellent technical skills.

To succeed in this position, you'll bring experience such as:

  • 1-2 years of experience in some of the technical delivery aspects of Civil & Structural Engineering projects
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD for the production of construction drawings
  • Working knowledge of civil and structural engineering software
  • Working knowledge of MS Office package (minimum Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work under tight programs and budget constraints
  • Ability to communicate fluently with other team members
  • Understanding of the CDM Regulations
  • Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or similar
