The opportunity

An exciting short-term opportunity has opened for a skilled and passionate professional to step into the Practice Specialist role for a three-month period. This role is set to commence in January 2025 (with flexibility for the right candidate).

The Practice Specialist collaborates across programs to elevate practice standards, focusing on areas such as:

  • Home-Based Care
  • Residential Care
  • Kinship Care
  • ICMS (Integrated Case Management System)
  • TCP (Targeted Care Packages)
  • Integrated Family Services

This role is pivotal in enabling and supporting high-quality practice while addressing identified gaps to build confidence and capacity within teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and completing case reviews arising from major incidents.
  • Driving practice improvement by leveraging insights and learnings from case reviews.
  • Collaborating across programs to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.

About You

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual who brings:

  • Strong practice experience within the areas of focus mentioned above.
  • Demonstrated ability to support high-quality practice in complex environments.
  • Skills in identifying and addressing practice gaps to foster improvement.
  • Excellent report writing, documentation, administrative, and organisational skills.
  • Experience in case review and management (highly regarded but not essential for the right candidate).
