The Opportunity

The Berry Street Education Model (BSEM) is a world-leading trauma-informed education model which provides strategies that enables teachers to increase engagement of students with complex, unmet learning needs and to successfully improve all students’ self-regulation, relationships, wellbeing, growth and academic achievement.

 The Education Marketing Lead is a dedicated marketer working with the BSEM team to drive help achieve ambitious growth goals. The role sits within the Central marketing team but will work fluidly between the Marketing and BSEM teams to provide dedicated marketing expertise and resource for the BSEM product while drawing on the skills and support of a wider marketing function.

The role is suited to a disciplined marketing practitioner with the ability to produce an integrated marketing plan and apply their technical skills to successfully implement their plan.

The role will become a product expert and apply their marketing know-how to drive awareness, leads and conversions for BSEM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Devise and execute an integrated BSEM marketing and content strategy in line with the BSEM growth strategy and in close consultation with the BSEM team
  • Act as the marketing expert and point of contact for the BSEM team to plan and execute campaigns across multiple channels including web, social, paid media, eDM
  • Provide hands-on technical marketing support including day to day management of BSEM social media channels; management of BSEM email marketing; writing and editing marketing copy to support activity including for social, EDMs and landing pages.
  • Manage BSEM marketing budget, and measure and report on the performance of campaigns and activity against goals
  • Ensure an integrated and consistent brand experience across all channels

About You

  • 5+ years’ integrated marketing experience.
  • A tertiary qualification in marketing, business or other relevant field
  • Technical, hands-on experience with email systems, CMS, Google Analytics, social media platforms
  • Staff must hold a valid WWCC, current driver’s license at all times and undergo a Criminal Records Check prior to employment. Subsequently, staff must report any criminal charges or court appearances.
