- Qualified Base Salary $92-$97k p/a depending on experience + Super & Salary Packaging (pro rata).

About the Side by Side Program
Side by Side is a new program run by Berry Street as the lead agency and Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) as subcontractor as part of the Victorian Government’s Partnerships Addressing Disadvantage initiative.
Side by Side is an outcomes-based contract and aims to improve engagement, attendance and learning outcomes for some of Victoria’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged children.
Your Opportunity
The Berry Street Education team is offering a unique opportunity to work on its first Social Impact Bond (SIB) initiative and to work in partnership with Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency Agency (VACCA) to transform students and families lives across Victoria.
The Family and Education Case Manager will work alongside a Berry Street Teacher to support students and families in three identified primary schools in the Morwell region (Years 1 to 4), who are low attenders, to close the gap on their attendance and learning.
This position is currently a mix of office based (Morwell), Outreach and working from home.
Your skills and experience
Previous case management experience desirable and proven ability to advocate for families to access services and resources.
Previous experience working with schools and the education sector are also highly desirable for this position.
Bachelor qualification in Social work or related field is required to receive the qualified salary. Diploma in social work or related field with experience will also be considered at an unqualified rate for this role.
