What can you expect to be doing?

As a Tenancy Officer, you'll be the main point of contact for our tenants. You'll connect them with necessary support services and promote community development. Your role will ensure our tenants feel not just housed, but actively involved and supported.

This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to manage a portfolio of properties, focusing on achieving positive tenancy outcomes. Covering planned leave across our Tenancy Officers and Housing Inspection Officers

  • Delivering tenancy and property management services in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act 1995 and our organisation's policies.
  • Conducting both scheduled and impromptu formal tenancy inspections, identifying and addressing any barriers to sustaining successful tenancies.
  • Collaborating with various service providers to offer a comprehensive and supportive service approach.
  • Overseeing lease renewals and conducting formal inspections to ensure properties meet acceptable standards.


What do you need to bring?

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • An understanding of the challenges faced by those experiencing a housing crisis or living with mental health and/or disability.
  • Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • A positive approach to engaging tenants, service providers, and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn
  • Baseline computer skills eg: word, excel, outlook
