Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality administrative support to our Housing Team and customers. Essential to this role are strong verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning and growing with the team.

What can you expect to be doing?


  • Offer professional administrative support to the Housing Portfolio.
  • Handle tenancy administration tasks in compliance with regulations and program requirements.
  • Review and improve current systems for better process efficiency.
  • Maintain tenant and property files, records, and housing databases.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Acquire knowledge of Anglicare’s and other agencies' services to better assist customers.
  • Manage financial tasks including accounts receivable, accounts payable, rent assessments, and debt management.
  • Prepare reports and spreadsheets for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Support the Housing Portfolio with financial administration.
  • Assist with property management for the Housing Portfolio.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Help the Housing Portfolio deliver services according to policies and procedures.
  • Attend tenant meetings and handle resident complaints and grievances promptly.


What do you need to bring?

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Community Housing or Private Rental sector (preferred).
  • Strong administrative skills with experience in record keeping and file management.
  • Effective time management with the ability to prioritise, organise, and multitask.
  • Proficient in computer software including databases, MS Office (Word, Excel), and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
