Applicants are sought for temporary part time project officer at Beechworth Health Service for 7 months to assist with our Continued Connections - Indigo Carers Project.

The position will deliver the project activities as per project submission and timelines and will report progress and milestones to the Project partnership governance group. Project development, implementation and evaluation using codesign principles and coordination of carers advisory group.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following attributes and carry out the key accountabilities in accordance with Beechworth Health Services values:

  • A degree or relevant experience in health, Health Promotion, project management, public health or community development
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment and liaise effectively with a variety of stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Understanding of social determinants of health
  • Demonstrated understanding and valuing of the skills of community members
  • Computer literacy skills, including excel, office and social media platforms
  • Understanding of principles and importance of community engagement and participation and systems thinking and collective impact.
