Applicants are sought for casual employment as a Health Care Worker. This role consists of assisting with the delivery of quality person centred residential aged care at Beechworth Health Service.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

Completed an approved TAFE course for Health Care Workers at a Certificate 3 or Higher,

Current First Aid Certificate;

Food Safety Certificate;

Ensure that people accessing Beechworth Health Service will experience a person-centred approach with respect to their needs;

Initial and ongoing assessment of the client/resident in collaboration with other personal care workers and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to ensure that an individualised plan of care is developed for the client/resident;

Liaise with managers and assist in problem solving to deal with issues as they arise.

Employment conditions and remuneration are as prescribed in the relevant award (dependent upon qualification) and current Enterprise Agreement.
