Health Care Worker - Part Time 0.6 EFT

The Health Care Worker role will contribute to providing and delivering of quality Person Centered Care under the directions of the Unit Nurse Manager and Registered Nurse and assist the organisation to meet its strategic and operational objectives in relation to residential aged care.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

Completed an approved TAFE course for Health Care Workers at a Certificate 3 or Higher;

Current First Aid Certificate;

Food Safety Certificate;

Ensure that people accessing Beechworth Health Service will experience a person-centered approach with respect to their needs;

Initial and ongoing assessment of the client/resident in collaboration with other personal care workers and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to ensure that an individualised plan of care is developed for the client/resident;

Liaise with managers and assist in problem solving to deal with issues as they arise.

Employment conditions and remuneration are as prescribed in the relevant award (dependent upon qualification) and current Enterprise Agreement.
