Where do you want to go?

In this fast-paced role you will contribute to the success of the Pinkenba Finished Goods Warehouse at Bayer Crop Science. We service both domestic and international markets with key agricultural products in the form of agricultural chemicals.

As we continue grow, we are currently service local distribution centres with stock transfers, direct to customer and internationally to 12 intercompany businesses.

Ensuring safety and compliance is of key importance as well as maintaining a high level of accuracy will be essential to your success.

We are a small team of 3 and you will report into the Finished Goods Coordinator. This position will work a 9-day fortnight working Mon – Fri and Mon – Thu. Hours will be 6am to 3pm.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers in a safe manner.
  • Safely operate a high reach forklift and counterbalance.
  • Maintaining a tidy and safe work environment.
  • Stacking products safely and in the correct locations within our warehouse.
  • Load and oversee the loading of containers to suit export requirements and completion of all required documentation.
  • Use SAP to complete tasks including creation and completion of orders, transfers and to book products in.
  • Accurately use RF scanners.
  • Maintain audit trail for documentation for both domestic and international export.
  • Communicating with both internal and external parties to meet and understand export requirements and provide updates.

Does this sound like you?

For you to be successful in this position you will have:

  • An excellent attitude towards adhering to Health and Safety processes, always putting safety first in all that you do.
  • Experience working in a similar warehousing role, ideally with domestic and international goods.
  • Current Australian Forklift license with experience in high reach and counterbalance.
  • A good understanding of good warehousing practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Candidates with knowledge of SAP and Dangerous Goods knowledge in transport and warehousing will be highly regarded.
