At Bayer in Radiology, we believe everyone deserves clear answers about their health. Our end-to-end Radiology solutions are designed to optimise patient outcomes in CT, MRI, Angiography and Molecular Imaging for today and tomorrow’s imaging environment.

Our products and services help to diagnose numerous conditions and can guide procedures such as surgery, biopsy and radiation therapy, as well as helping monitor treatment success. These aim to support the complex decision-making process of radiologists while helping patients through earlier disease management and interventions.

The Strategic Account Lead, ANZ leads the engagement of Bayer Radiology with our national key accounts to optimise business outcomes. It is responsible for key stakeholder relationship development in the C-suite, negotiating national and large scale regional commercial agreements, implementing B2B process enhancement and developing partnership opportunities.

This is a critical role to maximise commercial opportunities with our largest customer groups and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners.

Key Tasks

  • Develop national level corporate radiology relationships at executive C-suite level
  • Plan, prepare and undertake regular business reviews of key accounts to identify strategic opportunities
  • Develop and implement key account management strategy with major corporate partners and OEMs
  • Negotiate supply agreements and contracts to improve Bayer revenue and profitability objectives
  • Consult with Head of Sales and Head of Strategic Marketing & Solutions to coordinate and optimise strategic execution of key account initiatives and direct resources to meet deliverables and supply agreement/contract obligations

OEM Management

  • Maintain sustained national level relationships with OEM organisations.
  • Create pricing and engagement strategies to maximise market opportunities via the OEM channel and maintain preferred supplier status.
  • Liaise with APAC and global OEM account managers to align and implement pricing guidelines
  • Identify and maintain stakeholder mapping in key accounts
  • Enhance B2B relationships and maximise business opportunities with strategic national accounts
  • Coordinate strategic approach to key accounts via external relationships and internal stakeholder alignment
  • Identify opportunities for strategic collaboration to further mutual clinical and commercial
  • Negotiation of agreements and contracts to achieve financial objectives

Does this sound like you?

  • Tertiary undergraduate degree and/or postgraduate qualification in business, marketing or clinically relevant field to radiology
  • Min. 5 years commercial (sales and/or marketing) experience managing complex medical portfolios
  • Experience managing key strategic accounts in radiology or related medical fields
  • Demonstrated ability to create and foster collaborative relationships with executive level internal and external stakeholders that deliver results
  • Strong project management, planning and prioritisation skills and experience
  • High level communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated business acumen and experience developing and executing business proposals
  • Experience operating within healthcare procurement models and processes
  • Ability to negotiate complex business contracts and agreements to meet business metrics
