THE OPPORTUNITY

Following a recent internal promotion, we’re thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a passionate and growth focused leader to take charge of the performance and operations of multiple retail stores & services (including car seat installations) spanning across NSW incl. Western Sydney, South Coast, Regional NSW & ACT.

Reporting directly to the Southern Regional Manager this role is crucial in ensuring each store achieves sales targets and provides excellent customer service whilst ensuring operational excellence across the area. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader, who has a deep understanding of retail operations, and a passion for the baby goods industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Profitability

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed area sales targets.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Work closely with Store Managers to optimise sales and profitability.

Financial Management

  • Management of the area budget, ensuring financial goals are met.
  • Analyse financial reports and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

Operations

  • Oversee inventory management to ensure stock levels are appropriate and losses are minimised.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.

Team Management & Development

  • Recruit, train, and develop Store Managers to build a high-performing team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure a consistent and superior customer experience across all stores.
  • Address customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Review customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service.

Services Management

  • Oversee the provision of additional services including but not limited to car seat installation, personalised appointments, product hire and cleaning.
  • Ensure key performance metrics are achieved, including volume, revenue, costs, conversion rates, utilisation and customer satisfaction.

 Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure all stores comply with health and safety regulations.

ABOUT YOU

  • You have a drivers license & the ability to travel regularly to stores across Western Sydney, South coast, Regional NSW & ACT.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail management, with a passion for the baby goods industry.
  • You’re a natural born leader with the ability to lead with passion, focus and empathy, whilst being proficient in managing and resolving conflicts among staff and customers.
  • You will have extensive retail operations experience, with expertise in implementing sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
  • You’re customer focused & committed to providing exceptional customer service and improving the overall customer experience.
  • You have strong financial acumen with prior experience in developing and managing budgets to meet financial goals.
  • You have great interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively.
  • You’re a strategic thinker, with strong understanding and awareness of the market.
  • You’re a problem solver, with the ability to find innovative solutions to an array of challenges.
  • You have a great ability to manage time and manage multiple conflicting priorities simultaneously.
  • You are safety and compliance focused.
