THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for crafting timely and relevant customer communications? Baby Bunting is looking for a 1:1 Communications Channel Lead to take charge of our email, SMS, and web push notification channels and drive customer engagement like never before!

In this newly created role, reporting to the Head of Loyalty & CRM, this role works closely with the wider Loyalty & CRM, Marketing, Digital and Data & Analytics teams, external email service providers and liaises with the Merchandise team to support marketing campaigns, new product launches and key growth categories.

What You’ll Do:

Channel Management: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of email, SMS, and web push notification channels, including scheduling and audience and content segmentation. Ensure seamless execution and timely delivery of all 1:1 communications. Address and resolve any issues related to communication channels, including technical problems, deliverability issues, and audience feedback.

Campaign Execution and Delivery: Lead the hands-on creation, execution, and delivery of trade marketing campaigns across 1:1 channels. This includes briefing, building, and deploying emails, ensuring they meet brand standards and deliver on business objectives. Collaborating with content creators, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality, consistent, and relevant content across all 1:1 communication channels.

Performance Analysis and Optimisation: Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for email, SMS, and web push campaigns. Generate and present reports and insights on campaign performance, audience engagement, and ROI to enhance and grow channel KPIs. Identify opportunities for optimization and improvement within communication channels. Implement A/B testing, analyse results, and apply insights to enhance future campaigns.

Strategy Execution: Implement and refine 1:1 communication strategies, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and objectives. Continuously assess and refine strategies based on performance metrics and industry trends, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A hands-on communicator with email marketing expertise
  • Strong strategic insight and understanding of best practices
  • Experience using Emarsys
  • Proven experience in 1:1 communication strategies and audience segmentation
  • Experience in a fast-paced retail environment
  • A process-driven, organised individual who can collaborate effectively across teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
