THE OPPORTUNITY
Our dynamic, passionate and fun People & Culture team are on the lookout for a driven and diligent People and Culture coordinator to join our team in a 11-month parental leave role.
In this exciting role, reporting to the P&C Business Partner, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a highly experienced People & Culture team, gaining exposure to all aspects of the team member lifecycle, whilst making immediate impact.
In a snapshot you’ll be the go-to person for all team member queries whilst supporting the wider team in administrative duties & contributing to people related business projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a point of contact for team member P&C enquires, triage & direct to the appropriate person
- Monitoring, triaging, and actioning the P&C inbox
- Managing Baby Bunting Paid Parental Leave process & casual conversion process
- Ensures data integrity across our HRIS (IntelliHR)
- Support annual performance and remuneration review responsibilities
- Review and administer employee contracts, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Daily, Weekly and Monthly HR Metrics reporting
- Assist in various P&C projects and organisational culture initiatives
- Maintain an understanding and awareness of Baby Bunting Awards, Industrial instruments and Fair Work Australia legislation.
- Assist with the implementation and communication of HR policies & procedures
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of People & Culture processes and systems

ABOUT YOU
- You have 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role & are currently enrolled in or have recently completed a relevant diploma or degree.
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including the ability to engage with a wide variety of people across all levels of the organisation
- You’re a people person, with proven ability to build and foster effective relationships
- Well-developed organisational skills, including the ability to effectively prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and key objectives.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive material with care, maintaining confidentiality of P&C documents and other personal information.
- Demonstrated experience using a range of software systems including Microsoft office suite, with the ability to easily acquire new IT skills as required, prior experience with a HRIS (such as IntelliHR) is highly advantageous
