Broad Purpose
The primary role for this position is to support the Business Development and Marketing team by assisting with tasks that drive the company’s business development activities. This will include coordinating the schedules for the Business Development Team for client meetings and conferences and coordinating the documentation within the Business Development department.
Core Responsibilities
· Proactively manage the client meeting schedule for the Business Development Team to include distributing meeting invites for Business Development Team and potential clients.
· Support the coordination between business development, contracts and potential clients for Confidential Disclosure Agreement (CDA) review and sign-off processes.
· Proactively manage the entry and management of the business development team budget information into the customer relationship management (CRM) platform, ensuring the data captured is accurate.
· Provide administrative support to the Business Development team.
· Adhere to Avance Clinical’s marketing & business development budgets, policies and SOPs.
· Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information.
· Support the marketing team with various events, administration, conferences etc.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
· Ideally a years (or more) experience in an entry level Business Development or marketing assistant role.
· Highly organized and proactive with the ability to see the bigger picture and work toward the end goal.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports, presentations, policies and procedures.
· Proven ability to deliver tasks on time and with a high degree of accuracy.
· Demonstrated ability to take initiative in problem solving and in exercising judgment.
· Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously and cooperatively with other people and to work independently without supervision.
· Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office suite.
· Experience using a CRM (e.g.: Salesforce) is highly desirable.
· Experience in or exposure to the CRO, Pharmaceutical or Biotech industries would be beneficial.
