Plumbing Mentor
Do you consider yourself a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mentor with a Plumbing trade background? In this role you'll be supported to work alongside a qualified Trade Trainer and assist with the delivery of high-quality training.
This is a role with a direct career path to equip you to become a fully qualified Trainer with the completion of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment while being paid as a full time Mentor. This position can be based in either of our campus', North (Brendale) or South of Brisbane (Meadowbrook).
Key accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Guide students to achieve training milestones and goals
- Assist students with practical activities
- Maintain the training area - clean, tidy and safe
- Ensure all equipment is in good operational condition
- Assist Trainer with Student management
Skills you need to be successful:
- Trade qualification in the Plumbing industry
- Ability to engage, inspire and support students throughout their learning
- Desire to complete the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Good written and verbal communication
- Basic level of computer operating skills
