About the Role:

Reporting to the Regional Manager – Transition to Work, you will work across multiple sites within the region to build and maintain strong relationships with local employers across various industries, establishing partnerships that lead to meaningful employment opportunities for young people.

Required to meet specific targets in an outcome-driven environment, your commitment to understanding the unique employment needs of your clients and collaborating with employers to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, will be key drivers of success in this role.

You will identify and secure job opportunities, while collaborating with our case managers and employment mentors to match youth clients with suitable roles. Supporting both employers and candidates, you will ensure successful placements and long-term satisfaction. Additionally, you will promote the benefits of hiring young people and advocate for inclusive hiring practices, while staying informed about local labour market trends to proactively address employer needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience within Employment Services industry is highly regarded but not essential
  • Relevant experience in employer engagement, business development, sales, local industry networks or recruitment will set you up for success in this role
  • Proven experience working successfully within target driven environments is critical

 A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to role.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, along with a passion for supporting young people and creating positive social impact. Familiarity with the local industry and employment market will be highly valued. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently as well as part of a team, and possess a valid driver’s license with the willingness to travel locally. Adaptability and resilience are key traits, as you navigate the diverse needs of job seekers and employers alike.

You must be able to balance empathy, dignity, and respect in your daily work with a drive to ensure we achieve positive business outcomes.
